Ms. Remington, M.Ed.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math)

Jocelyn Remington has been with The Academy since 2012.   She taught kindergarten for four years.  For the 2016-2017 school year, Ms. Remington moved to a new position teaching all students K-5 in the STEM Lab.  She also teaches K-5 STEM camps over academic breaks with Ms. Locklear.


She has a masters degree in elementary education and a bachelor of science in communications from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. Originally from Indiana, Jocelyn has lived in North Carolina since 2003.  She resides in Southern Pines with her husband and two daughters.
