Mrs. Johnson has lived in the Sandhills area for over 30 years. She has a degree in Biology and worked for many years as a Respiratory Therapist at First Health of the Carolinas. After years as a stay-at-home mom, she took a position as a teacher’s assistant at her son’s elementary school. Feeling that she had found her calling, she returned to school while working full time and completed her degree in Elementary Education. This is her 4th year at TAMC. Mrs. Johnson has been the yearbook editor at TAMC for the last 2 years and is the leader of the 3-5 LEGO club.
She has been married to her husband, Jamie, for 17 years, and has two children, Erica and Aidan. They have two rescue dogs and you may see one, Archie, on campus listening to children read. Mrs. Johnson can play the piano and the saxophone and loves to incorporate music into lessons. In her free time, she likes doing just about anything with her family, except for yardwork.
