Ms. Huff,

EMCE Ed. BA arts & psychology

Visual Arts K-2

This is Mrs. Huff’s third year teaching Art at The Academy of Moore County. She taught the after-school Art Club during the 2016-2017 school year and was a substitute as well. She has a passion for the arts and helping students develop confidence in expressing themselves artistically. Emphasizing the importance of the arts, she has taken students to the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, organized our school Art Show, entered all of our students in the yearly NC Farm to School calendar contest, and showcased a handful of our student’s art in the Young Peoples’ Fine Arts Festival.

Mrs. Huff is from New Hampshire where she earned her B.A. in Psychology and her post-graduate teacher certification in early elementary education from Franklin Pierce University. Mrs. Huff has experience teaching third grade, children with autism, and tutoring/substitute teaching all grades up to middle school.

North Carolina has been home for Mrs. Huff, her husband, two children, and one dog, for twelve years.

Mrs. Huff enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and creating/making items for her home.

You will find most of our student artworks on our Artsonia page:
